Maths Step Scotland aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. It supports keyboard navigation, visible focus, labelled controls, screen-reader descriptions for learning diagrams, reduced-motion preferences and responsive layouts.
Using the learning tabs
Press Left or Right Arrow to move between Year path and Browse curriculum. Home selects the first tab and End selects the last. Curriculum section tabs use the same pattern.
Known limitations
Generated canvas diagrams have text alternatives, but some learners may prefer a teacher-provided tactile or enlarged version. Browser print and PDF results can differ. The service has not yet completed an independent assistive-technology audit, so it should not be described as fully compliant.
