See it before you start

See how Maths Pebbles helps when your child gets stuck.

Open a quick example of the support learners receive after one or two incorrect attempts.

Example guide

How support builds after a mistake

After one incorrect attempt, learners see a worked example with different numbers. After a second, they see fuller step-by-step support before retrying.

Estimation & rounding

Find the deciding digit

Underline the requested place, then inspect only the digit immediately to its right.

Fractions

Make the parts the same size

Use a common denominator before adding. A separate example shows each conversion.

Algebra

Undo one operation at a time

Keep both sides balanced, with a different equation demonstrating the same method.

How hints help

One mistake → worked example → fuller support
